The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) is soliciting applications for the Fostering Advancements in Shipping and Transportation for the Long-term Achievement of National Efficiencies (FASTLANE) grant program. The program will fund critical freight and highway projects. While this is primarily a freight-focused program, eligible projects include those that provide direct benefits for moving people as well, such as rail and road grade separations.
