Transportation Planning Funds

The U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) requests proposals for the 2010 Transportation Planning Broad Agency Announcement. FHWA seeks projects in the following areas: Tools and Techniques that Support State and Local Planning Capacity Building; Tools and Techniques that Support Tribal Planning Capacity Building; Global Climate Change and Air Quality Research; Congestion Management; Safety Planning; Public Involvement, Environmental Justice, Visualization in Planning; and Freight Planning.

Some $1.5 million expected to be available.

Pre-proposals are required and are due February 15, 2010. Final proposals are due April 5, 2010.
